Frustrated

SOUR: I feel like I am playing the dating game with my Internet connection. I never know what to expect. It will answer my call one day and then the next day completely disappear. It is very frustrated.

I was forced to take drastic measures to get online this time. See, my computer has some sort of wicked virus that wiped out my wireless card and eventually wouldn't even let me connect to the f-ing cable Internet that I just got installed. Basically I had two options: buy a new laptop (hello, I have no job) or back up everything I needed and completely wipe my computer. This was a very scary thought. But it was my only option at the time, so I bought an external hard drive and backed up all my thousands of pictures and songs, and my sister's bf borrowed a disk from some IT person and installed that after deleting everything on my hard drive. Frightening. Anyway, it's not perfect now by any means, because I'm having to connect to some obscure wireless that is very weak and keeps going in and out. Hopefully we'll be able to figure something out soon, because damn, you really can't get anything done without the Internet.

Other than that, I am having a great time here. Spending too much money going out, but I think that's acceptable in the beginning stages. The animals are all getting along, aside from a few cat fights. The dog has gotten into the habit of breaking them up, which is hilarious.

Anyway, that's all for now. Sorry for the delay in getting back to anyone who's written me. Once I get this shit straight I'll be back in full effect.
