SWEET: As you know, I have a temporary job.
SOUR: I feel like I'm having to go through the first day all over again! I worked a couple hours Friday afternoon, then there was the weekend, and then an unexpected day off for MLK Day. So now I'm facing down Tuesday and feeling just as anxious as I did Friday. Ugh.
SWEET: I have an interview for a different job -- a full-time, permanent one -- on Thursday. Hooray! Are things looking up? I sure hope so.
SWEET: Tonight I made Indian Apricot Chicken, and it was delicious. I bought some Garam Masala a while ago for another recipe, and tonight I decided I wanted to use it again. A quick Google search turned up the aforementioned recipe, and off I went! It was very tasty, and I was pleased with myself.
SOUR: Have I mentioned that I have to get up at 6 a.m. tomorrow? Do you know long it's been since I've had to do such a thing?
