Hired help

SWEET: I know I've been kinda wussing out with the blogs lately and resorting to quotes and stories from my friends, but work is SO ridiculously busy that I have no other choice. I have no creative thoughts in my head. So, here's an e-mail from Tanya, describing her husband's brother's engagement party.

We were back in Lancaster for Anthony's brother's engagement party. I was asked to take pictures and must have looked really official because none of the waitstaff would take my drink order or offer me hors d'oeuvres and the bride's family had no interest in meeting me. Definitely interesting to attend a family party as the hired help. I was standing with Anthony as the party was wrapping up so we could say good bye to people and they literally walked right past me like I was invisible and were all like "Anthony, so great to meet you" and gave him big hugs. I'm surprised they weren't like, "yo photographer lady, take my picture as I'm leaving."

SWEET: I was responsible today and made a sandwich for lunch instead of relying on the cafe downstairs. I love their food, but I cannot afford $10 lunches every day.
