SOUR: A man at my work was in his office talking loudly on the phone. For confidentiality reasons, we shut his door. He came out and said, "I guess my voice carries?" So now I have that "Voices Carry" song stuck in my head. It is by far better than the "Five Dollar Footlongs" song, but annoying nonetheless.
SWEET: Walking the Rail Trail with Sarah last night! It was all chilly (not in a painful way), and there were leaves on the ground, and Stripper Cop was also in attendance. I have given Sarah strict instructions to force me to walk the Rail Trail no matter how hard I protest or try to talk her into cosuming wine instead.
SOUR: The city has put an assload of money into this Rail Trail. I know this firsthand cause I covered that shit for the paper. Anyway, it's landscaped really nicely and features benches along the way. For some reason, dumbass teenagers or preteens or something find it hilarious and entertaining to vandalize the benches and it pisses me off. The benches are all caved in in the middle, like some little thug thought it would be a great idea to jump on them and see what happened. ALL of the benches are like this. And whenever they replace them, they are immediately abused again. I do understand that there's probably a lack of things for kids to do in this town (really, what is there to do until you can legally drink?). HOWEVER, it is such a waste and annoys me to no end. OK, I'm done.
I will take pictures tonight to document this.
