I really don't enjoy shopping as much as I probably should. But today I was forced to get serious about it, as I needed an outfit for a wedding and some suitable clothes for the rest of my trip. The black lounging pants I've been living in for the last three months probably wouldn't be that acceptable in the restaurants/museums/streets of NYC. That said ...
SWEET: Today at Target I found a little black dress with a built-in slimming layer. I immediately texted Diane and said, "This is the best invention since the beer tube!" Actually now that I think about it, it might be an invention BECAUSE of the beer tube. Hmm.
SOUR: It is impossible -- IMPOSSIBLE -- for me to find jeans I like. This is due to two reasons -- my thighs and my height. Maybe that's actually three reasons. Anyway. It seems that no where carries long/tall jeans anymore. This is very, very frustrating, and even more so when I just suck it up and buy the "average" jeans thinking they'll just have to do, and then once I wash them it's like I'm ready for the flood. Ugh!
SWEET: I bought an effing awesome purple coat at Target!
SOUR: I'm spending money like I have a job. God. I wish spending money was my job. Careerbuilder.com, are you listening?
