SOUR: I have started off my last two mornings very badly -- besides waking up late (really, what's it gonna hurt to snooze one more time?), I have, as usual, watched the Today Show. This is part of my routine. A certain dating Web site that shall remain nameless might consider this a "habit that is important to me." Anyway, I wake up and watch the local news on NBC (local news is full of douchebags, but this channel is pretty acceptable), and then I watch the Today Show. So yesterday -- I think it was yesterday ... actually it might have been Wednesday, but whatev -- they had on anorexic alien bitch Ann Coulter ranting about how all of society's problems can be traced back to single mothers. I seriously felt sick to my stomach after watching two minutes of the interview, but I couldn't turn away. It was like a trainwreck. This explains why her books are No. 1 bestsellers -- not because they're good, but because people buy them only to find out what kind of venom she's currently spewing.

Vomit.

And then this morning, the show featured some clips from the coming documentary featuring Sarah Palin, where she addresses such subjects as Caroline Kennedy and Katie Couric. What specifically annoyed me was how she continued to defend her inability to tell Katie Couric what newspapers and magazines she read regularly before her candidacy. I mean, if you can't think fast enough to rattle off "Newsweek" or "Time" or "The Wall Street Journal," then wtf. I thought it was finally safe for me to turn on the TV without seeing her face, but no such luck.
