Becky once told me it's been proven that Tuesdays are the worst days of the workweek. I might have this wrong, but it has something to do with the fact that bosses/coworkers typically take it (a little) easier on you on Mondays, because Mondays suck for everyone. But then Tuesday they come back full force.
So far, this theory has been proven true, as I have already been greeted with a "How's Alice?"
Alice is fantastic. Alice is awesome. Alice is on her second cup of coffee and has already dealt with a barrage of IMs from people. Alice has a long day ahead of her. So I guess that leads me into my morning breakdown:
SOUR: Tuesdays. Bosses who arrive at work early, therefore not giving you your required hour of quiet, paper-reading, Internet-checking time. Hearing my boss typing furiously on her keyboard, and just KNOWING that she's composing a serious e-mail or IM to me.
SWEET: I am obsessed with the new Coldplay album. Obsessed. It's so good. I listen to it in the car on the way to work, on my computer at work, and in the car on the way home from work. Should I ever get it loaded on my iPod, I will no doubt listen to it even more. Also sweet: I finished "Confessions of a Shopaholic" last night, and it was entertaining. The girl was a moron, and the ending was too unbelievable and cheesy, but it was a good, light read.
And finally, it is super sweet that I will now link to Sarah's blog ... www.lovingit123.blogspot.com.
Peacing out for now.

So, the study I saw said that the managers of the world expect the most work out of their subordinates on Tuesdays. This, in turn, translates as being the worst day of the week! Provided you're a subordinate that is...like I am. :)
